TT Siahkol Caravanserai: a journey into the depths of history and nature
Passing on history:
TT Siahkol Caravanserai was built during the Safavid era, when the Silk Road was very prosperous. This caravanserai was located on the way from Dillman to Lahijan, and it was the resting and trading place of the caravans that came to this area from the east and the west. TT Caravanserai has witnessed many events throughout its history and contains untold stories of businessmen, travelers and pilgrims.
Architecture and beauty:
TT Caravanserai is built with traditional Iranian architecture and using materials such as rubble stone, brick and mortar. This caravanserai has a large central courtyard and four porches on the four sides of the courtyard. In the porches and rooms around the yard, beautiful brick decorations and tiling can be seen, which have given a special effect to the caravanserai.
