Timche Sarafian is a historical building related to the Qajar period, located in Abadeh city of Fars province. This timcheh, with its beautiful and unique architecture, is known as one of the most beautiful timchehs in Iran.
Architecture:
Timche Sarafian is built on a land of about 2000 square meters. This Timcheh has two entrance and exit doors which are located on the north and south sides.
Yard:
In the center of Timcheh, there is a large yard, which has cells and pavilions on its four sides. Cells and pavilions are built on two floors and have domed and brick roofs.
Decorations:
Timche Sarafian is decorated with beautiful brickwork and tiling. In the exterior of Timcheh, clay bricks and maqali tiles are used. In the interior of Timcheh, brickwork of arch and tuiz and tiles of seven colors have been used.
User:
In the past, Timche Sarafian was a place of business for merchants. In this Timcheh, all kinds of goods and products including carpets, fabrics, and spices are sold.
Today:
Timche Sarafian, after restoration and reconstruction, is used as a cultural and tourism complex. In this Timcheh, there are craft stalls, restaurant, and traditional tea house.
