Mahmoud Hasabi was born in Tafaresh in 1281. After completing his primary and secondary education in Iran, he went to France to continue his studies and was educated in the field of physics. After returning to Iran, Hasabi taught physics at Tehran University and provided valuable services to the country’s science and knowledge.
Prof. Hashi was an expert in various fields of physics, including theoretical physics, atomic physics, and cosmic physics. He has many works and translations in these fields. Hasabi was also the founder of several scientific and research centers in Iran.
Professor Hasabi died in 1373 and according to his will, he was buried in his hometown, Tafarsh. His tomb has become a place to pay tribute to this wise scientist.
The tomb of Professor Hasabi is located on a hill overlooking the city of Tafarsh. The mausoleum building is simple and undamaged and made with white marble. A statue of the arithmetic professor is also installed next to the tomb.
Dr. Hasabi’s museum is also located next to his tomb. This museum contains personal items, manuscripts, and photographs of Professor Arithmee.
