Bani Kazemi’s house: a gem in the heart of the desert
The Bani Kazemi house, a magnificent mansion from the Qajar period, has a special and privileged position among other historical houses in Kashan in terms of the size, grandeur and height of its magnificent porch. This magnificent building, with its eye-catching architecture and pleasant atmosphere, is known as one of the prominent tourist attractions of Kashan city and receives a huge number of domestic and foreign tourists every year.
History:
According to the inscription on the west facade of this house, its construction date is 1272 AH. This building was built in 1369 by a person named Mohammad Hassan Khan Rokhtdar, who was once the ruler of Kashan, with the architecture of Master Ali Maryam, and was completed in 1372.
Architecture:
Bani Kazemi’s house was built on a land of about 2,500 square meters and includes various parts such as a square yard, a pond, four-sided gardens suitable for the yard, a porch building, halls and rooms.

Two fronts: In the construction of the two fronts of this house, the architects stretched the volume of the two main floors on both sides of the courtyard to its corners, and in this way, despite the fact that the two longitudinal fronts of the courtyard are one floor, the open and wide space of the two-story courtyard appears as a whole.
Rebuilding:
The historic house of Bani Kazemi was purchased and restored from Haj Mohammad Bani Kazemi in 1375 by the Board of Trustees for the Reconstruction of Historical Houses of Kashan headed by Engineer Mahluji.
