The Esfand Waterfall, also known as the Poora Waterfall, is situated near the village of Esfand, in the Jelgeh Chah Hashem district of Dalgan County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. It’s located approximately 80 kilometers southwest of Iranشهر (Iran Shahr) and 120 kilometers northwest of نیکشهر (Nik Shahr).
The waterfall has a height of about 40 meters and a width of about 20 meters. Its source is a spring located in the Poora Mountains. The water flows through palm groves and gardens in the village of Esfand before cascading down to the ground.
The area around the waterfall is covered with palm trees, fig trees, almond trees, and other fruit trees. Additionally, it serves as a habitat for various bird and wild animal species, including mountain goats, gazelles, and chinkaras.
