Suzangar Historical House

Introduction:
Suzangar Historical House, which is also known as Mostofi House and Waziri House, dates back to the Qajar period and is located in Dezful, Imam Khomeini Street, Qala neighborhood. This building was registered as one of the national works of Iran on March 25, 1378 with registration number 2606.
History:
Suzangar house was built in 1260 AH by the order of Mohammad Ali Waziri, one of the rich and merchants of Dezful. After the death of Waziri, this house was handed over to the Mustofi family, and for this reason it is also known as the Mustofi House.
Architecture:
Suzangar house has a magnificent and eye-catching architecture. This building consists of two parts, inner and outer, which are separated by a large yard. The inner part includes royal rooms, five doors, sashes, etc., which are decorated with stucco, painting and mirror work. The outer part also includes the hall, yard, etc., which was used to receive guests.
User:
Suzangar house was used as a residence in the past. Now this building has been turned into an anthropological museum of Dezful and objects and accessories related to the life of Dezful people in the past periods have been exhibited in it.
