Shurabil Lake, the turquoise gem of Ardabil city, with an area of about 180 hectares, is one of the largest inner city lakes in Iran. Changes over time: This lake has seen many changes over time. In the past, this lake was called Shorbil due to the salinity of the water, but the salinity of the lake has decreased with the fresh water of the Balkhlo River entering it.
