Shirband Damghan cave: a gem in the heart of Alborz
Shirband cave is located 18 km northeast of Damghan city in Semnan province. This 190 million year old cave is one of the most beautiful limestone caves in Iran.
The mouth of Shirband cave is located at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level, and to reach it, you have to walk for about 30 minutes.
Inside the cave, there are numerous halls and corridors decorated with lanterns and beautiful limestone columns.
