History:
The caravanserai of Shah Abbasi Neishabur was built during the peak of the Safavid dynasty and by the order of Shah Safi, the successor of Shah Abbas. This caravanserai was located on the route of the Silk Road, a prosperous and vital highway at that time, and played a key role in trade and cultural exchanges between the East and the West.

The caravanserai of Shah Abbasi Neishabur with an area of over 5 thousand square meters is one of the large and magnificent caravansaries of the Safavid period. This building was inspired by authentic Iranian architecture and was built using bricks and mortar.

Entrance: The caravanserai has two lofty and magnificent entrance doors in the north and south, which lead to the central courtyard.
Yard: The central yard is a wide and rectangular space with high porches and rooms on its four sides.
Porches: Four lofty porches on the north, south, east and west fronts of the yard, with gabled arches and brick and tile decorations, have given the caravanserai a magnificent effect.
Cells: Cells are small and nested rooms located on two floors around the central courtyard. In the past, these cells were a resting place for caravans and merchants.
Stables and docks: In the side parts of the caravanserai, stables for keeping animals and docks for storing goods were installed.
Decorations:
The caravanserai of Shah Abbasi Neishabur is a brilliant example of the art and architecture of the Safavid period. Brick decorations, tiling and beautiful wall paintings have added to the magnificence of this building.
Brick decoration: The exterior and interior of the caravanserai are decorated with delicate and geometric brickwork, especially in the arches, arches and gables.
Tiling: In the porches and rooms, mosaic and seven-color tiles are used to create Islamic motifs, flowers and bushes, and Quranic inscriptions.
