Saluk Castle (Saluk): a strong fortress over the history of North Khorasan
Saluk Castle (Saluk), a strong and magnificent fortress is located in the north of North Khorasan and in Saluk region. This castle, which is located on the top of Saluk Mountain at an altitude of 2135 meters above the ground, is one of the most important and spectacular historical castles in Iran.
Saluk Castle dates back to the Islamic era and probably to the 7th century of Hijri. This castle has witnessed many events and wars throughout its history and has been used by different rulers and dynasties in different periods.
