Paul Khajo: A jewel in the heart of Isfahan
Khajo Bridge, also known as Shahi Bridge, is one of the most famous bridges of Zayandeh River in Isfahan. This bridge, which was built during the era of Shah Abbas Safavid by the order of Khwaja Shamsuddin Muhammad bin Khwaja Ali Shamsuddin, his prime minister, is known as a masterpiece of architecture and a symbol of the greatness of the Safavid era.

Length and width: Khajo Bridge is 133 meters long and 12 meters wide.
Spans: This bridge has 23 spans, 21 spans are active and 2 spans have been blocked over time.
Materials: The main materials of the bridge are brick and stone, and its decorations include tiling, wall paintings, and plastering.
Decorations: The decorations of the bridge include mosaic and seven-color tiling with Slime, Khatai and geometric motifs. Wall paintings of the bridge were also added during the Qajar era. The plasterwork of the bridge is also very beautiful and artistic.
Shahneshin: In the middle of the bridge, there is a royal palace with exquisite decorations, which was the resting place of the king and courtiers in the past.
Stone lions: On both sides of the bridge, there are 24 stone lions that are a symbol of power and majesty.
