Pars Shiraz Museum: a treasure of Iranian history and culture
Pars Shiraz Museum, which is also known as Nazar Garden, is one of the most famous museums in Iran and one of the most important museums in Fars province. History:
Kolah Ferangi Mansion, which is the current location of Pars Museum, was built by Karim Khan Zand during the Zandiye period. At first, this mansion was used as a place to receive guests and foreign ambassadors, as well as to perform official ceremonies on various holidays. After the death of Karim Khan Zand, this mansion was also used as his tomb.
In 1315, the Kolah Ferangi mansion was turned into a museum and historical objects and artifacts were transferred to it from different parts of Fars province. This museum was completely renovated and renovated in 1373 and since then it continues to operate as one of the most important cultural and tourism centers of Shiraz.

Kolah Ferangi mansion is very beautiful and eye-catching in terms of architecture. This building has eight irregular sides, four sashes and four entrances. The interior of the building includes a central hall with a dome, four thrones and a number of other rooms.
The interior decorations of Kolah Ferengi mansion are also very beautiful and eye-catching. The wall paintings, stucco, mirror works and moqrans works of this building tell about the art and taste of Iranian artists in the Zandiyeh period.

Pars Shiraz Museum operates in two separate sections, namely the Museum of the Pre-Islamic Era and the Museum of the Islamic Era. In the museum of the pre-Islam era, objects and works from the Paleolithic era to the Sassanid period are exhibited. These objects include pottery, stone and metal tools, statues, coins, etc.
In the Museum of the Islamic Era, objects and works from different Islamic periods, including the Safavid, Zandiyeh, Qajar and Pahlavi periods, are exhibited. These objects include handwritten Qurans, coffeehouse paintings, metal and clay dishes, carpets, etc.
