Pardley House: A gem in the heart of the desert
Pardli House, famous for the Birjand Clothing and Textile Museum, is located in the city of Birjand, the capital of South Khorasan province. This house, which is one of the oldest houses in Birjand, is an outstanding example of traditional Iranian architecture in hot and dry areas.
History:
Qajar period: The Pardli house was built in the Qajar period by one of the famous merchants of Birjand named Haj Mohammad Hassan Pardli.
Residence: The Pardley family lived in this house until 1376.
Museum: After restoration and restoration, Pardli House became Birjand Clothing and Textile Museum in 2013.
Architecture:

Collection: Birjand Clothing and Textile Museum has a very rich collection of traditional clothes and textiles of South Khorasan region.
Different sections: This museum has different sections, such as the section of traditional men’s and women’s clothing, the section of traditional fabrics and textiles, the section of weaving tools and instruments, and the section of traditional dolls.
