Naqsh Rajab, a picture of the glory and greatness of the Sassanids
Naqsh Rajab complex is located 7 km north of Persepolis, on the slopes of Mount Rahmat in Fars province. This collection includes four outstanding paintings from the Sassanid period, which are of great importance in terms of history and art.

The second picture shows the victory of Shapur I over the enemy. In this picture, the Sassanid king defeats the enemy and crushes him under his horse’s hoof. Sassanid soldiers lined up behind the king with discipline.
