A rare inscription, a souvenir of the conqueror of India in the heart of the mountain
Introduction:

Naderi inscription is a historical stone inscription near Kalat village in Razavi Khorasan province. This inscription, which was engraved on a rock in the heart of the mountain by the order of Nader Shah Afshar in 1155 AH, is known as one of the most important historical documents of Iran.
Content of the inscription:
The text of Naderi’s inscription is in Persian and Khorasani Turkish and contains 24 lines of poetry. These poems praise God, the Prophet of Islam, and Nader Shah Afshar. Also, in this inscription, the description of Nadir Shah’s campaigns to India and his victories are mentioned.
Importance:
A rare inscription is of great historical and literary importance. This inscription is considered as one of the important sources for knowing the history of the Afshariya period. Also, the poems of this inscription are significant from a literary point of view and show the poet’s skill in writing epic poetry.
