Masuleh houses are built in the form of stairs on the hillside. So that the roof of every house is the courtyard of the upper house. This type of architecture, which is known locally as “Masolei”, has been used by the people of this region for a long time due to its harmony with the mountainous nature of the region. The materials used in the construction of the houses are stone, clay and wood, which add to the beauty and originality of this village.
Narrow and cobbled streets
The alleys of Masuleh are narrow and paved and it is not possible to pass through them by car. This issue has made Masuleh known as a pedestrian village and it is very enjoyable to visit. Walking in these alleys and passing by traditional houses will give you a nostalgic feeling.
