Margon waterfall, a jewel in the heart of the Zagros mountains, is one of the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in Iran, located in Fars province. The name Margon means “big snake” in the local language. It is said that in the past, large snakes lived in this area and for this reason, this name was given to the waterfall.

Access path:
Margun waterfall is located 130 km northwest of Shiraz and 50 km from Sepidan city. To access this waterfall, you should use the Shiraz-Sepidan road and then go to Margun village.
