Margon waterfall

Margon waterfall, a jewel in the heart of the Zagros mountains, is one of the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in Iran, located in Fars province. This waterfall, with a height of 70 meters and a width of 100 meters, originates from several springs in the heart of the mountain and creates an eye-catching and stunning view.
Denomination:
The name Margon means “big snake” in the local language. It is said that in the past, large snakes lived in this area and for this reason, this name was given to the waterfall.

Number of floors: This waterfall flows down in three floors and a natural pool is created in each floor.

The best time to visit Margon Falls is spring and summer. In these seasons, the waterfall is at its most watery and the natural scenery around it is lush and spectacular.
Access path:
Margun waterfall is located 130 km northwest of Shiraz and 50 km from Sepidan city. To access this waterfall, you should use the Shiraz-Sepidan road and then go to Margun village.
