The Jameh Mosque of Tabriz is one of the oldest and most historically significant religious monuments in Tabriz. The mosque has endured several devastating earthquakes, particularly those of 1721 and 1779, which caused major destruction across Tabriz. Each time, the local community and rulers undertook restoration efforts to rebuild the mosque, ensuring its continued role as the city’s main congregational center.
