Kirkbud waterfall, a gem in Alborz: a journey to an unknown world
Karakbod waterfall or Gor waterfall, a hidden gem in Alborz, is located 700 meters north of Karakbod village in Taleghan region. This waterfall, with a height of about 25 meters and a width of 10 meters, is located in the middle of a huge rocky valley with the roaring sound of a river that originates from the heights of Hesarchal in Mazandaran.
The way to reach the waterfall:
To reach the Kirkbud waterfall, you need to take the Karaj-Chalos road towards Asara. After the sleeping bridge, there is a side road towards Kirkbud village. From this dirt road, you will walk for about 1 to 1.5 hours in the middle of beautiful nature and cross the river to reach the waterfall.
