Kashana Bastam Tower: A gem in the heart of history
Bastam Kashana Tower is a magnificent and historical building in Bastam city, Semnan province. This tower, which is also known as Bastam Minaret and Mill Imam, has been registered as one of the national works of Iran and is one of the popular tourist attractions of this city.
History:
The date of construction of Bastam Kashana Tower dates back to the fifth century of the lunar calendar and the Seljuk period. This tower was built by order of Raziuddin Mohammad Isa, a descendant of Bayazid Bastami, a famous Iranian Sufi.
Architecture:
Kashana Bastam Tower is made of bricks and has a height of about 24 meters. This tower consists of two parts, the body and the dome. The body of the tower has beautiful brick decorations and its dome is also decorated with turquoise colored tiles.
