The stone tombs of Kafir Keli are a collection of ancient tombs located in the heart of the Alborz mountains, near Pelmon village on the Haraz road. The age of these tombs is not precisely known, but some experts attribute their age to the pre-Islamic period and possibly to the Medes period.

Kafir Keli tombs are located at a height between 70 and 100 meters above the ground.
These crypts are carved in the heart of the rocks and are small and large rooms.

The name Kafir Keli is due to the existence of these tombs in an area called Kafir Keli. There are different opinions about the designation Kafir Kelli. Some believe that this name was because Zoroastrians lived in this area in the past.

Access path:
To access Kafir Keli catacombs, you have to go from Haraz road towards Amel city. After passing through the city of Amel, go to the side road of Pelmon village and travel about 10 kilometers on the mountain road to reach these tombs.
