Hoz Sultan: a gem in the desert of Iran
Hoz Sultan, a magnificent salty lake, is located 40 kilometers north of Qom city. This lake, which is also known as the biggest mirror of Iran, with an area of 240 square kilometers, was registered as a national natural work in 2002.

Reflection of the sky: The reflection of the sky in the salty water of Hoz Sultan creates a unique and spectacular sight as if a huge mirror is placed in the heart of the desert.
Caves and ancient paintings: On the edge of Hoz Sultan, there are caves with rupestre paintings that show the historical antiquity of this area and human habitation in the distant past.
Islands and migratory birds: Several small islands in Sultan Pond are a safe place for migratory and native birds to live in the region.
Therapeutic properties: Due to the presence of mineral salts, the water of Hoz Sultan has many therapeutic properties and is useful for treating skin and respiratory diseases.
