Hammam Qajar is a historical building in Qazvin city, which was built during the Qajar period by the order of Fath Ali Shah Qajar. This bath, which is located on Tabriz street, is one of the most beautiful and important historical baths in Iran.
History:
The Qajar bath was built in the early 13th century AH by the order of Fath Ali Shah Qajar and at the same time as the Qajar dynasty was built. This bath has been used by Qazvin people throughout history and was active as a bath until a few decades ago.
Architecture:
In terms of architecture, Qajar bath is an example of Iranian architectural masterpieces. This bathroom has different parts, such as the headboard, the greenhouse, the treasury, and the bathroom tone.
Headboard: Headboard is a large and domed space that is located at the entrance to the bathroom. In Sarbineh, there are changing rooms and cold water pools.
Greenhouse: Greenhouse is a warm and humid space where hot water pools and treasure are located.
Treasury: Treasury is a large tank of hot water that was used for washing and bathing.
Bathroom tone: The bathroom tone is an underground space where the fire was lit and provided the heat of the bathroom.
