Hamedan Archaeological Museum

Hamedan Archaeological Museum, also known as Hegmataneh Museum, is one of the richest museums in Iran, located in Imam Khomeini Square, Hamedan. This museum is located in a magnificent building that was originally built as a school called “Porvesh School” in 1312.
This museum has two separate sections:
Hegmataneh Museum: This section contains ancient objects related to the Medes, Achaemenids, Parthians and Sasanians.
