Dere Pelang, North Khorasan: a hidden gem in the heart of the desert
Dareh Plang is like a hidden gem in the heart of North Khorasan desert, which attracts every tourist with its unique beauty. This valley is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Bojnord and the road to access it is asphalt.
The Roaring Tiger River, which originates from the sources of the Hezar Masjid mountains, passes through this valley and brings freshness and vitality. In the spring and summer, the dense oak and juniper forests of the Tiger Valley become lush and green and create an eye-catching sight. In the autumn season, the different autumn colors of these forests turn the Leopard Valley into a painting.
Dere Pelang is not only popular with tourists because of its natural beauty. Many tourist activities such as climbing, hiking, picnic, photography and camping are possible in this area. In addition, Dere Pelang has historical and cultural attractions. There are many ancient monuments such as castles, caravanserais and historical cemeteries in this area, which show its antiquity and ancient civilization.
