Constitutional House: a symbol of freedom struggles in Tabriz
The Constitutional House, which is located in Tabriz, is one of the most important historical buildings related to the Iranian Constitutional Revolution. This house, which in its time was the gathering place and activity of Tabrizi constitutionalists, is used as a constitutional museum today.
A turbulent history:
Constitutional House was built in 1247 AH by Haj Mehdi Kozekanani, one of the rich merchants of Tabriz.
During the constitutional revolution, this house became the gathering place and activity of Tabrizi constitutionalists. Sattar Khan and Baqer Khan, the leaders of the constitutionalists of Tabriz, met each other many times in this house and exchanged ideas to advance the goals of the constitutional revolution.
In 1287 A.H., Muhammad Ali Shah Qajar issued an order to bombard the National Assembly. After this incident, Tabriz constitutionalists led by Sattar Khan and Baqer Khan rose up in Tabriz and captured the city. During this period, the Constitutional House was used as one of the command centers of Tabriz constitutionalists.
After the constitutional victory, the Constitutional House was registered as one of the historical monuments of Iran.
Currently, the Constitutional House is used as a Constitutional Museum. Objects and documents related to the constitutional revolution are exhibited in this museum.
Architecture:
The constitutional house is built on two floors and with an area of about 700 square meters.

The decorations of the constitutional house include tiling, plastering, and painting.
