Behbahan Daffodil Plain

Behbahan Daffodil Plain is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural attractions of Iran, located in Khuzestan province and near Behbahan city. This vast plain is filled with narcissus flowers every year in the winter season, from late January to early February, and creates an eye-catching and unforgettable sight.
Age and scope:
Behbahan daffodil has a long history and dates back to BC. The size of this beautiful plain is estimated between 500 and 700 hectares and it has spread from the current Bidbland field to Tang Takab region and even Behbahan Kurdistan.
Narcissus types:
In the Behbahan narcissus plain, there are many types of narcissus, such as feather flower, Shahla, cat’s paw and meskin. The pleasant fragrance of these flowers fills the plain and induces a feeling of peace and freshness.
Narcissus Flower Festival:
Every year, at the end of January and at the same time as the narcissus blossoms, the narcissus flower festival is held in Behbahan. In this festival, there are various programs such as live music, handicrafts and local souvenirs exhibition, as well as tourist tours to visit the Narges Zar Plain.
Best time to visit:
The best time to visit Behbahan Daffodil Plain is late January to early February. At this time, the daffodils are in full bloom and the plain is filled with the fragrance of daffodils.
