Avan Lake, which is known as Negin Alamut, is located 75 km northeast of Qazvin city and among the four villages of Avan, Varin, Zovar Dasht and Zarabad. This lake is located at an altitude of 1815 meters above sea level and has an area of 7 hectares. The depth of the lake reaches about 6 meters in the deepest part.
